Data sources
This edition combines edited English meanings, selected English Wiktionary definitions and English translations of French Wiktionary definitions. The 500-verb editorial core has examples and usage patterns. Translations of rare and specialist entries are a first editorial pass and may need further revision. The reference does not list every sense of every verb.
French forms use the shared Verbé database, based on Lefff and Wiktionary, with editorial corrections. Frequency order uses Lexique 4.1 and depends on its corpus.
Examples in the edited entries and the English tense explanations were written for this edition. Additional bilingual examples come from Wiktionary under CC BY-SA 4.0.
